Ontario Nature's Together for Nature 

Hi all,

We are meeting at 7 pm on Wednesday, August 19, to cover event planning, discuss Nature London's contribution (board motion separate), and gather volunteers for the roles noted below. The meeting for anyone interested. Email president@naturelodon.ca for details.

Volunteer support needed:

• Event Photography: Capturing photos during the afternoon session and evening concert.

• Flyer & Poster Distribution: Helping put up posters in local libraries, shops, and community centers.

• Promotions & Social Media: Sharing event details with partner networks and local groups.

• Day-of Support: Logistics, setup, and welcoming guests.

Key Action Items:

• Determine funding contribution - we've been asked for $4,000 (board to discuss)

• Spread the word!

SEPTEMBER 18th

On September 18th, Nature London, in collaboration with Ontario Nature and Legal Advocates for Nature's Defence (LAND), is hosting a two-part gathering in London. We are hosting visiting delegates from Northern Ontario (Okiniwak, Here We Stand and Friends of the Attawapiskat River) who are travelling across Southern Ontario to share their stories on land defence, environmental protection, and community rights.

Afternoon Gathering (2:00 – 4:00 PM @ Westminster Ponds):

• Format: An informal, outdoor cultural session.

• Programming: TBD

• Local Partnership: We are connecting with Chippewas of the Thames First Nation to lead/co-host the afternoon session.

Evening Concert: (7:00- 9:30 pm @ Metropolitan United Church):

Ticket are $30/person at Together For Nature Tour (London) - Canadahelps

• Keynote addresses from Okiniwak, Here We Stand and the Friends of the Attawapiskat River
